Licensed Facilitator Apprenticeship Program

Are you passionate about how mindfulness and play support a child’s development, confidence, and overall well-being?

The Mindful Play Learning Work-to-Own Apprenticeship Program is a paid facilitator development pathway designed for individuals who desire hands-on experience, mentorship, leadership development, and a pathway toward becoming independent Licensed Mindful Play Learning Facilitators.
This unique opportunity allows apprentices to learn while earning by working alongside Mindful Play Learning through real-world facilitation experiences within schools, childcare centers, libraries, camps, community organizations, after-school programs, and wellness initiatives.
The apprenticeship program was created to help aspiring facilitators build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, develop professional facilitation experience, and grow into independent mindfulness and play-based wellness facilitators within their own communities.
Facilitators participating in the Mindful Play Learning Work-to-Own Apprenticeship Program complete the:
Mindful Play Learning Contracted Facilitator Course

This self-paced online training course prepares apprentices to support and facilitate approved Mindful Play Learning programming while working alongside the Mindful Play Learning organization.
The course provides foundational training in:

How the Work-to-Own Pathway Works
​
Step 1 — Complete the Contracted Facilitator Course
Apprentices begin by completing the Mindful Play Learning Contracted Facilitator Course and earning foundational facilitator training.
​
Step 2 — Join the Work-to-Own Apprenticeship Program
Apprentices begin gaining hands-on experience while working alongside Mindful Play Learning.
​
Apprentice Facilitator Compensation
$25/hour
Apprentices are compensated for:

Approved facilitation opportunities

Classroom support
-
Demo classes
-
Program participation

Training support activities

Step 3 — Transition into Licensed Facilitator Leadership
Apprentices who successfully complete the apprenticeship pathway may qualify to transition into independent Licensed Mindful Play Learning Facilitators (MPL-LF).
Licensed Facilitators may:

Facilitate approved MPL programming independently
-
Partner with schools and organizations
-
Offer workshops, classes, camps, and enrichment programs
-
Use approved MPL curriculum and branding
-
Build programming opportunities within their communities
-

Training Completion Stipend
Apprentices who:
✅ successfully complete the Contracted Facilitator Course
AND
✅ actively work within the apprenticeship program for at least 30 days
will receive a:
$250 Training Completion Stipend
This stipend is designed to support and reward commitment, participation, and successful onboarding into the Mindful Play Learning community.

Apprenticeship Completion License Credit
Apprentices who successfully complete the Work-to-Own Apprenticeship Program and transition into Licensed Facilitator status may also qualify for a:
$250 License Credit
The License Credit recognizes successful completion of the apprenticeship pathway and may be applied toward the facilitator’s The Mindful Play Learning Collective Business-in-a-Box Licensing Ecosystem for Certified Facilitators Program investment.

Partnership Development Bonus
Apprentices who help secure approved partnerships for Mindful Play Learning may qualify for a:
5% Partnership Development Bonus
Eligible partnerships may include:

Schools

Childcare centers
-
Libraries
-
Camps

Community organizations

Wellness initiatives
-
Youth-serving programs
Bonuses are distributed after:
✅ signed agreements are completed
AND
✅ first payments are successfully processed

Apprentices who successfully complete at least 6 months within the apprenticeship program may qualify to participate in:

This advanced leadership training prepares apprentices for independent Licensed Facilitator opportunities and community leadership.
