Mindful Play Learning offers intentional learning pathways designed to support educators, professionals, and organizations in integrating play-based mindfulness with integrity, depth, and care. Each pathway offers a different level of learning, application, and permission, allowing participants to choose the experience that best supports their role and goals. The Mindful Play Learning framework is designed to integrate into any existing curriculum or business model seamlessly.

Yoga Play Lab for Professionals
This professional development workshop focuses on movement, imagination, and emotional regulation through yoga-based play. Led by Yolonda Deon Tyler, Founder of Mindful Play Learning and author of the Yoga Play Card Deck and Mini Meditation Card Deck, this interactive session introduces playful, themed yoga and mindfulness practices that educators can easily integrate into learning environments. Participants explore how to use the Mindful Play Learning card decks to support regulation, creativity, and connection through movement. Focus Areas Include: Playful yoga poses and sequencing Yoga for emotions and self-expression Movement paired with affirmations Playful mindfulness games Gentle breathing and meditation practices
Meditate &
Play Lab for Professionals
The Meditate & Play Lab offers a playful and accessible approach to meditation and mindfulness. Led by Yolonda Deon Tyler, Founder of Mindful Play Learning and author of the Yoga Play Card Deck and Mini Meditation Card Deck, this professional development workshop explores creative ways to introduce themed meditation, breathwork, and restorative practices that support calm, focus, and self-awareness. Participants learn how to use Mindful Play Learning’s card decks to make mindfulness engaging and developmentally appropriate. Trauma-Informed Teaching & Positive Behavior Builders
This professional development workshop focuses on trauma-informed teaching strategies and positive behavior supports that foster emotionally safe and connected learning environments. Participants learn how mindfulness, movement, and play can be used to support regulation, resilience, and positive classroom culture. Introduction to Mindful Play Learning for Early Learners
This professional development workshop focuses on introducing the Mindful Play Learning framework and its play-based approach to whole-child development. Participants explore the 3 C’s of Play—Community, Creativity, and Cognitive Development—and how mindful play supports learning across key developmental domains. Focus Areas Include: Foundations of Mindful Play Learning The 3 C’s of Play framework Learning domains supported through MPL: Physical movement STEAM Literacy and language Health and wellness Social-emotional development
Mindful Play Learning Book Study

Self Self-paced virtual training with practicum component | Application-based enrollment
What to Expect
An in-depth training experience focused on mastery of the Mindful Play Learning framework. Participants develop facilitation confidence, ethical clarity, and the skills needed to independently lead approved MPL sessions.
To earn licensure, participants complete required coursework along with a practicum and demonstration of competency that shows their ability to integrate the Mindful Play Learning approach in real-life settings.

What to Expect
A leadership-focused certification designed to build internal capacity within organizations. Certified Trainers learn how to train staff with fidelity, support implementation, and sustain Mindful Play Learning practices over time.
